Online CE for California Automobile Assigned Risk Plan (CAARP) Welcome to the online continuing education (CE) portal for the California Automobile Assigned Risk Plan (CAARP) and the California Low Cost Automobile Insurance Program (LCA). To become a certified producer with the California Automobile Assigned Risk Plan (CAARP), all licensed agents/brokers in California must complete all of the 4 one-hour courses to fulfill the producer certification seminar requirement. Per Section 19.A.4 of CAARP’s regulations, all courses must be taken within 120 days of becoming certified with CAARP. To maintain their certification, each broker-agent must complete the producer seminar requirement, either on-line or through an instructor-led class, at least once every four years after certification.
