LCA Program Policy Changes In the event that the insured decides to make any changes to their LCA Program policy, the producer must submit a change request in writing using the LC Policy Change Request Form AIP127. This Form can be found at www.aipso.com/lc in the Forms Library. The producer shall submit this form and any applicable documentation directly to the assigned insurer no later than three working days after being notified of the request by the insured. No other change form is acceptable for the LCA Program. The LC Policy Change Request Form, which must be signed by the insured, will indicate to the assigned company whether the insured will continue to be eligible for the LCA Program. If the assigned company determines that the insured is no longer eligible the policy will continue until the end of the policy term. No renewal will be offered. This form should be used when there is a:
If the insured is removing one vehicle from the policy and replacing it with a newly purchased vehicle, in order to continue to be eligible, the new vehicle must not be worth more than $20,000. If a new driver is added, he/she must meet all eligibility criteria. If an insured moves from one county to another county, the rates would be adjusted for the remainder of the policy period to the rates for the new county. *If the insured moves out of California, the policy will continue until the end of the policy year and then will not be renewed. The only coverages that can be added or deleted mid-term are the medical and the uninsured motorist bodily injury coverage. |
